A bright, front-facing photograph will do. If one cannot be used we stop before anything is made and tell you what is wanting — all of this before any payment.

For Face & Chart, the photo you supply is sent through our servers to the generation provider to create a reference face, which we show you small before payment. Once you pay, that generated face is measured in your browser. The 26 facial measurements and your birth details are sent to our servers, where the chart and reading are calculated. A reference face you do not pay for is deleted 48 hours after the request.

You do not choose them. Where face and pillars meet, your place in Joseon and your grade are decided. And so, until it opens, you do not know who you will be either.

• A reading is for enjoyment. It proves nothing, and it counsels nothing.
• Saved results are deleted under the 14-day retention rules in our Privacy Policy. Download them before the retention period ends.
